Role Overview:

As Senior Controls Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing PLC code for Siemens PLCs as part of a large-scale upgrade project.
• Programming HMIs and ensuring seamless integration with customer specifications.
• Controlling and sequencing a range of material handling systems, including conveyors, stacker cranes, high-bay storage systems, and third-party equipment.
• Traveling to site to commission and test the equipment.
• Collaborating closely with mechanical, electrical, and site commissioning teams.

Skills and experience required for Senior Controls Engineer:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Expertise in Siemens PLCs, including S7-300, S7-400, and S7-1500 series.
• Experience programming motion-controlled equipment, such as conveyors.
• The ability to write PLC code and HMI programs from scratch.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight during the commissioning phase.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
