Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience of maintaining a range of automated warehouse equipment is required for an intralogistics company.

Location: Tilbury

Shift work

The position of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will include the following:

• Working to a planned maintenance programme as well as providing reactive support for a range of highly automated machinery.
• Reading mechanical and electrical drawing to assist with the repair and maintenance of the equipment.
• Work at height in some cases to maintain the equipment.
• Strive to ensure full up-time of production through efficiently following the procedures and good use of initiative.
• Fault finding on PLCs and HMIs, and maintaining robotics, conveyors, high bay stackers, storage and retrieval systems, palletising and depalletising systems.

The suitable candidate for Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will need to possess:

• Experience of working on automated production machinery, ideally in an automated warehouse environment.
• Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• PLC/HMI Fault finding
• Working at Height – Desirable
